The Sands Kenya prioritize using fresh, sustainable and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The Sands Farm provides much of the produce used at the resort, with fresh fish coming form local fisherman who practice sustainable fishing.

​The Mikoko Sunset Deck is THE place to watch the sunset at Chale Island with spectacular views over the ocean. Grab a table, or laze in the suspended hammocks, there really is no better place for a sundowner. Set on the beach, with unobstructed views of the ocean, the Jahazi Beach Bar is the ideal spot to enjoy a drink with some tasty bites.
Along with these, it is also possible to eat or enjoy drinks at the Samaki Sushi Bar, the Kibanda, the Tamu Tamu Cafeteria, Dinner On The Beach, the Baharini Restaurant and the Barafu Bar.
